Kericho County Referral Hospital is the only referral facility in the region serving a total population of 970,000 in the County. Being on the main Nakuru-Kisumu Highway, it is also a hospital of convenience for those on transit or for those who may need emergency health services. With the increase of demand for the various services, the hospital faced challenges especially in the radiology section which led to the digitization of patients' radiological information to improve health care efficiency in Kericho County.
