
The County Government of Kericho is creating awareness about skin cancer and providing free screening to persons living with albinism. The sensitization programme aims to reduce the stigma associated with people living with skin diseases. In most cases, people living with albinism have visual impairment, which requires them to wear glasses or use handheld vision aids called monocular. Thus, that the County government has supported needy students with albinism with monocular to help them read clearly.
