The County Government of Garissa in strengthening the health commodities supply chain, has launched a Health Products and Technologies Unit (HPTU). The HPTU will help address challenges associated with product stock-out and inadequate budgetary allocation in the County. Commodity stock-out has caused patients to spend more on travel from one County to another to seek medical assistance.
