The Citizen Engagement Unit with the support of the Maarifa Centre identified counties that had good practices in engaging citizens through citizen complaints systems. The four counties identified were Wajir, Nandi, Makueni and Kiambu Counties, and the Maarifa Centre is currently undertaking a documentation exercise in collaboration with the Communication Unit to capture these stories and experiences which can then be replicated in other counties.
The team will be on the ground in Kiambu County conducting interviews and capturing the stories through video and written reports which will be compiled and shared on our Maarifa Platform.
